I'm Nedi. I grew up around these images — icons, crosses, knights on old walls. They have lasted a thousand years because someone kept them, and passed them on.
That is what I wanted to make. Not something for this season. Something that ends up belonging to someone else.

How it is made
The design is the fabric.
Every blanket is jacquard woven. The picture is built on the loom itself, out of coloured cotton threads crossing each other — six to twelve colours in a single piece.
Nothing is printed. Nothing is pressed on. It cannot fade, peel or crack, because there is no layer to come off.
